Saat ini Dr. Ahmad Kusumaatmaja, M.Sc berkantor di Departemen Fisika, Fakultas MIPA,   Universitas Gadjah Mada, Sekip Utara PO BOX BLS.21 Yogyakarta, 55281.

Dr. Ahmad Kusumaatmaja, M.Sc menyelesaikan S1 dan S2 Universitas Gadjah Mada, Bidang Ilmu Fisika dan melanjutkan pendidikan S3 di Nara Institute of Science and Technology, Japan dengn mengambil Bidang Ilmu Materials Science.
